1. How do I register to the summit?
This is an virtual summit. Registration will be done online via our summit website. You will see a “REGISTER NOW” button in Blue colour right at the home page. Please click on the button and it will direct you to a registration page.
2. When will I receive login instructions?
When a virtual attendee registration is completed, you will receive an email with access instructions.
3. How do I fix incorrect login credentials?
Please contact our help desk assistants (Tapir and Black Bear mascot) located right on the bottom right on the virtual lobby. Our event assistant will retrieve your login ID and password for your immediate participation.
4. How can I be sure that my computer will be compatible to watch the streamed forum?
Firstly, you need to have an internet connection – broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE). Preferred browser - Google Chrome 60+ (macOS / Windows) for better browsing and streaming experience.
5. How can I see what sessions are streaming live from the conference?
From the summit website, select the tab “AGENDA” on top of the home page, then select check out the summit agenda. Plan ahead - know which sessions you want to attend and when they are happening. Enter the session room early so that you don’t miss anything. The 2020 Malaysia-Taiwan Industrial Collaboration is in the Greenwich Mean Time zone - all times listed in the program are GMT+8, adjust your calendar/ schedule accordingly.
6. What should I expect in the virtual summit?
Just like a live exhibition and conference, you’ll see many of the leading industrial brands as well as a large number of SMEs. The one thing that the exhibitors have in common is that they will have populated their stands with the latest and greatest products and services available. Once you’ve found what you’re looking for you’ll be able to download literature, watch videos and direct enquiries.
7. How do I visit a virtual exhibition booth?
Upon entering the virtual lobby, you will be able to see a directory board next to our help desk assistants (Tapir and Black Bear mascot) located right on the bottom right. Click on the first tab “EXHIBITION HALL”, you will be in the exhibition hall which you will see exhibition booths. Select your interested exhibition category/ industry (4 industries for your selection) on the left panel. If you know the name of any of the participating exhibitor, you can type in the name of the “SEARCH” box on top of the exhibition directory panel. Then, you will be free to explore.
8. How do I make an enquiry to the product I’ve seen?
You can make direct enquiries to the exhibitor via the “INTERACTION” tools as you browse over the booth.
9. How do I enter to the registered forum?
Upon entering the virtual lobby, you will see a directory board on the bottom right of the screen. There are total of 4 auditoriums listed in this directory, just hit on the your registered forum 5-10 minutes before the session starts.
10. How do I interact through the session chair?
Each sub-forum will have a dedicated on-site session chair who will relay your content related questions and comments to the presenter(s) and the on-site audience. The session chair will introduce herself/ himself to the virtual audience at the beginning of the session using the chat feature on the streaming site. If you have a question or comment, write it in the chat window. Your session chair will relay it to the presenter during the Q&A portion, or when/ if the presenter pauses to take questions.
